What an awesome date night! We grabbed some take out, wine, and turned off our phones. It was so much fun chatting through all the evidence and possible scenarios together. Printing it out and having sticky notes, a notebook, and a push pin board adds to the fun of feeling like real detectives. The thought and details that went into the case were incredible! We worked on it for about two hours and it was a good amount of challenging but solvable. Highly recommend for a unique night of fun!
The Freya Henderson cold case file was the second we have tried out and let me tell you we had a great time. It is just so nice being able to switch off your phones and chat with each other and have a lot of fun. This case was actully pretty tricky but we got there in the end! Also super affordable compared to going out for a dinner and drinks! Would highly recommend for your next date night!

Did this with my girlfriend, she’s a massive true crime fan and whilst reading the evidence she would overthink massively but as soon she read all the evidence she figured it out quite quickly and found it pretty easily. On the other hand I can tell that someone like myself who isn’t as ‘clued’ up on this stuff, this probably would have taken me a bit longer to figure out. Regardless, it is great fun and untangling the story is very fun (we both got goosebumps at multiple points). Would definitely recommend for a date night and is a great starter case to go for but I’d recommend maybe also getting one of the harder cases as well.
It had been a while since I had planned something specific for date night for my wife and I so I was really excited when I got an ad for this on Instagram. My wife loves murder mystery books and documentaries so I figured it’d be perfect. We had so much fun and she’s told all her friends about it. She even messaged a group chat of friends to invite them to our place so we could do another cold case as a group. Highly recommend, and if you have the ability, print out the paper, it makes it so much fun especially if you’re goofy and pin stuff on a board to make it look like a real detective case 😂.
It was so fun acting like detectives for a night! No phones, no distraction, just me and my baby. A bit obvious who the killer was but i would definitely recommend!
We just did Freya’s case this weekend and it was so fun! We loved every second of it. It truly pushed us to think outside of the box and be present with eachother. We can't wait to tell our friends and to do another one. Thank you Twist of a Date! WE ARE BIG FANS!
The case were amazingly built!! The only thing we found a bit less good was that we hadn’t the possibility to get the file in french… Except that, everything was amazing!!
It was an incredibly exciting escape game to do with nicely designed hints, also absolutely solvable, but unfortunately we both had been thinking way to complicated so we couldn‘t make it out in an hour!
Love these cases, its so much fun and keeps us busy for a few hours! Also you get everything directly, no waiting time.

Leuke puzzels die niet al te moeilijk zijn. Het was onze eerste puzzel die we gekocht hebben maar we gaan er zeker meer kopen hier.
We had great time and the puzzle were fairly easy while still challenging enough to spend a good time ! Really recommended
I bought the Olivia case and prepared everything from notepads to a whiteboard to take notes, it was so much fun going through the files and envelopes, a completely out of the routine date and we loved it 😍
